Mark Kleiman
I have a Master's in Public Health from UCLA and worked in healthcare before going back to school to become a lawyer. In my first job out of graduate school, I learned that the second largest government-sponsored health planning agency in the country was corrupt from top to bottom. I spoke up and got fired. It took eighteen months, but we finally forced the Feds to shut the agency down. I know what it took -- and what it took out of me. I know what you are going through.
An experienced trial lawyer, I've won multi-million-dollar verdicts in consumer fraud and health care fraud cases. I've served on a U.S. Food and Drug Administration Advisory Panel and on the boards of California hospital and state health licensing agencies. I've been a consultant for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, the American Public Health Association, and the American Cancer Society. I've served as a State Bar-appointed Special Master during investigations of fraudulent medica-legal activities. I've lectured at Columbia University and the University of North Carolina.
I've authored or co-authored "Friend of the Court" briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court and several federal Courts of Appeal for Taxpayers Against Fraud and the National Employment Lawyers' Association.
